Time is on the actor’s side

Like any life in the universe, actor’s life on stage unfolds through and within time. The rhythm, the pause, the intensity, the cyclicality and other numerous aspects of existence challenge and enrich the work of the actor. The actor plays with time: Expanding and contracting, accelerating and causing pauses, always strives to escape time. Getting to know the depth of creative potential of time on the stage is synonymous to getting to know the art of acting itself.

What theatre reveals to us about time, and most importantly – how to get hands on something so immaterial – these are the questions, challenging the minds of the team of teachers of the Online Theatre Academy in the next Talk.

Traditionally – this event is held via zoom, open to everybody and free of charge.
