School of DirectingJurij Alschitz Three steps to professional directing for emerging and experienced Directors, Drama Teachers, Theatre Pedagogues, for Actors with new professional perspectives This unique online training programme is designed for those who have decided to pursue a directing career, as well as for all directors, theatre educators, actors and playwrights with professional experience, who wish to enhance their practical skills. It is aimed at those who want to learn important secrets of the profession. The 4-month intensive programme has three modules. In between, students receive extensive assignments so that they can develop the expertise they have gained into their own methodology. In this programme, Jurij Alschitz practices the Quantum Pedagogy he developed, which is based both on impulses and on a holistic concept of theatre. The Director’s Rehearsal MethodsThe true art of directing reveals itself in the ability to work with actors. All rehearsal methods can be compared to keys with which you can, so to speak, “open” the actor, the role and the play. They, like all keys, are somewhat similar, but nevertheless differ in a small “prong” and therefore open different locks. |

The new Face of the Acting TeacherDr. Jurij Alschitz Rethinking teaching, re-inventing oneself as pedagogue. Jurij Alschitz invites you to become part of the first generation of quantum theatre teachers: “In this master class, you will encounter a new philosophy of teaching, where a lesson is understood as a living organism and the teacher as a field in which knowledge and ignorance, order and chaos, thought and action come together.” This is a 3-month programme for all those who have set themselves the goal of training the next generation of actors and enabling them to perform in a theatre that we do not yet know today. Passing on knowledge is a nobel tradition, but there is a danger of stagnation.
