What could be better than a summer vacation? A summer vacation plus, which means rest that let me gain new knowledge. I have often done summer projects combining creativity and relaxation, and one has always perfectly complemented the other. It is not correct to think that our creative activities are just work; no, creativity itself is pleasure, the joy of discovery, and the recharging of new energy. Knowledge is also energy and should be enjoyed just as much as wonderful Italian food, clean mountain air, walks in the mountains, communication with new colleagues. The benefits of learning during vacations have been confirmed by scientific studies that found acquiring knowledge during holidays is not only useful but also more productive. Think about it: the body rests from the daily routine, it is saturated with vitamins, and receives new strength. So why not add to this a relatively small but significant stream of knowledge at that moment? This phenomenon has now been discovered by the modern working world: Workation stands for an efficient organisation of the work process that combines work and rest.
The Summer Academy combines teaching and resting with the aim of inspiration, rejuvenation of creative and mental powers. Come, it will be interesting!
