update autumn programme 2025

read in browser

Dear friends and colleagues,

the season has begun, and we have made some changes to the programme and planned more new courses.

In addition to short seminars that are intended to give participants new impulses, Jurij Alschitz is planning two longer advanced training programmes: ‘The International School of Directing’ begins in November and ‘The New Face of the Acting Teacher’ in February/March.

Take a look at what we have to offer and don’t hesitate to ask if you have any questions. Consultations via Zoom are also always possible.
We look forward to old and new artistic encounters!

play theme – the purest form of acting

Christine Schmalor

Workshop and individual coaching

There is a vacuum for actors in contemporary theatre: no situations, no characters, no plots, just words, words, words… texts, sounds, ideas created by authors, directors or collectively. Exciting – but what should I play? Themes?

How can themes be identified? How can they be opened up? How can they be played?

Only with a clear change in the actor’s position, based on a changed mindset. In this seminar, we will try out new techniques of text analysis that necessarily lead to completely different forms of acting. We allow ourselves to playfully open up philosophical dimensions; to shift the space of thought into larger dimensions and thus explore new dimensions in time and space.

You will discover emotions and feelings on entirely new levels.

Three steps to professional directing

School of Directing

Dr Jurij Alschitz

International programme for emerging and experienced Directors, Drama Teachers, Theatre Pedagogues, and for Actors with new professional perspectives.

This unique online training programme is designed for those who have decided to pursue a directing career, as well as for all directors, theatre educators, actors and playwrights with professional experience, who wish to enhance their practical skills. It is aimed at those who want to learn important secrets of the profession.

The School of Directing is a 4-month intensive programme in three stages, with three modules. In between, they are given extensive assignments so that they can develop the expertise they have gained into their own methodology. In this programme, Jurij Alschitz practices the Quantum Pedagogy he developed, which is based both on impulses and on a holistic concept of theatre.

The call will be issued shortly.
Time frame:
End of February – beginning of May 2026

PREVIEW

Dr. Jurij Alschitz

The new Face of the Acting Teacher

This means rethinking teaching, its content and oneself.

A course for all those who have set themselves the goal of training the next generation of actors and enabling them to perform in a theatre that we do not yet know today.

Passing on knowledge is a nobel tradition, but there is a danger of stagnation. This course is for all those who see teaching as a research process and who not only teach students, but are themselves a driving force for new forms of acting and stage presence.

In recent years, Dr Jurij Alschitz has developed a Quantum Training based on so-called Quantum Pedagogy.

His textbook on Quantum Pedagogy in Theatre will be published in April 2026.

Participants in this course have the privilege of belonging to the first generation to receive this knowledge personally from its inventor.
