SOLO – a path to your monoperformance

Monoperformances have been an increasingly widespread format for some years now. Apart from pragmatic reasons, I see this as an emancipation of actors who want to take responsibility for content and form of their performance because they regard themselves as free artists. However, ambition, impulse and desire also have strong opponents: loneliness in the creative process and a lack of distance from one’s own work, which can lead to losing track of which task one should devote oneself to next.

SOLO – the devised monologue

Christine Schmalor

That’s why I developed the online course SOLO, which has already proven highly useful in its combination of group sessions and individual coaching. It accompanies the artists in the various phases – from clarifying the theme, to techniques for unleashing the creative chaos, to capturing it again with knowledge of composition. The focus is on many practical exercises, especially on how to apply and develop them oneself subsequently.

Each of the three thematic group sessions will be followed by personal coaching on the own project within the next few days.

It is my pleasure to support artists in their individual work to find their unique voice.

⇒please register here

The course will take place online on 3 Sundays
6 February + 20 February + 6 March always from 15 – 18:00 (UTC+1)
The one-to-one appointments will be arranged individually.
If you missed a session, you can watch it as a recording.

The dates/topics can also be booked as single sessions.

SOLO 1 – Above All
FINDING my theme – OPENING all dimensions of a theme – GIVING VOICE to my theme

SOLO 2 – The creative mind flow
