Attention! Our autumn programme has undergone a few changes in scheduling. Here are the current dates.

Dear friends and colleagues,

the autumn season has begun and we wish you every success with all your projects!

Our Online Theatre Academy offers courses that can be perfectly combined with your everyday professional life. This way you can always get new ideas and stimulate your own system.

That is the advantage of online meetings – they can be integrated and they connect artists from all over the world. The practical implementation of new ideas and suggestions on stage is up to each individual and thus leads to a much stronger sense of personal responsibility. Our philosophy of many years is about the self-empowerment of the actors; their strengthening and positioning as artists on stage is promoted in this way and put into practice by the participants.

The new format of the Academy with three departments for acting, directing and teaching gives a clear orientation about the direction of the courses. All the more, however, everyone is invited to change perspectives. Basically, all courses are always aimed at actors, directors and teachers, because it is precisely the different perspectives on a topic and the resulting approaches that stimulate innovation and individual insights.

The Vertical of the Role – a Method for the Actor’s Self-prepration is already a classic in European theatre. The method was developed by Dr. Jurij Alschitz 25 years ago. Over the years it has naturally changed, many steps have been adapted by Christine Schmalor for online teaching and lead to even more self-reliance for the artists.
