I’d like to kindly ask you to pass this information on to your colleagues as well.
Thank you!
Dear colleague,
I would like to cordially invite you to an introduction to ‘Quantum Pedagogy for Theatre’.
Dr Jurij Alschitz, Artistic and Scientific Director of the World Theatre Training Institute AKT-ZENT / Research Centre of the International Theatre Institute, has been exploring the application of scientific findings to the art of acting for several years.
I believe that every dedicated drama teacher asks themselves what forms of dramatic expression the changing world demands and how the theatre of tomorrow should be taught today.
Whilst stage technology today offers every conceivable possibility, the art of acting itself, with its analogue essence of the ‘human being’ remains largely stuck in the last century. What do the findings of quantum physics mean for the art of acting? We call this the ‘actor in superposition’.
What kind of training opens up these new spaces of perception and creation for us?
On 18 and 19 April (3–6 pm | UTC+2), Dr Jurij Alschitz will give a compact online seminar on the fundamentals of quantum pedagogy. This is less about a new ‘method’ and more about a fundamental shift in one’s own ‘mindset’.
Are you up for such a challenge?
Take the quantum leap!
Welcome!
