The summer of the World Theatre Training Institute was dedicated to our International Theatre Summer Academy in Montecreto – we worked a lot outdoors and experimented with the marvellous surroundings, but also enjoyed the beautiful theatre space to trace the words of Sei Shenagon in a concentrated atmosphere.

We would like to invite you to study our new autumn offers.
There is now a whole range of individual online education, consultation and coaching programmes available.
The 4-month programme for professional directing starts in November. It is aimed at both beginners and experienced directors. Extremely useful for all teachers and educators! Absolutely recommended for actors who want to strengthen their independence.

Artistic director Dr Jurij Alschitz has been researching ‘holistic theatre’ for several years and speaks in this context of holistic cognition. Complementary he is developing a ‘quantum pedagogy’ for theatre that is based on quantum cognition. What is behind these words?
A concentrated online introductory weekend in October will provide information and, at best, cause a lot of astonishment, even welcome confusion. Risk the self-experiment! Give new systems, thought patterns and forms of perception a chance!

Directors acquire essential knowledge how to develop and implement ideas for a performance, but also actors how to stage their roles, and theatre teachers how to use the art of directing in their pedagogical work. Here, directing is conveyed in its comprehensive meaning – as a world view, as an art, as a craft and as a tool. The School of Directing is a 4-month intensive programme in three stages, with three modules. It is designed for participants to take part in all three modules. In between, they are given extensive assignments so that they can develop the expertise they have gained into their own methodology. In this programme, Jurij Alschitz practices the Quantum Pedagogy he developed, which is based both on impulses and on a holistic concept of theatre.
