Dear colleagues and friends,
plans are made during the quiet days…
Take advantage of two early bird offers until 31 December with which we want to enable all colleagues associated with us to participate at a reduced price.
In February, Jurij Alschitz will start a new international directing programme. Three modules per year can be freely combined and attended online/hybrid/in presence. We start with “The Director’s Tools” in Berlin, or online for those who cannot travel.
Actors can work on their new role with the method The Vertical of the Role.
We hope for many inspiring encounters next year.
As always, we are very happy about your word-of-mouth propaganda.
Thank you very much!

The Vertical of the RoleChristine SchmalorThe Vertical of the Role is already a classic in the European Theatre. This method for the actor’s self-preparation was created by Dr. Jurij Alschitz 25 years ago. Over the years it has naturally changed, many steps have been adapted for online teaching and lead to even more self-reliance for the artists. The actor becomes the author of the role and thus the encounter with the director on the film set or on the first day of rehearsals in the theatre takes place at eye level. This method will help you prepare for a role throughout your life. The clear work steps give you certainty as to which tasks you can set yourself and in what order so that you can grasp a role in all its dimensions. In addition to the 8 group sessions, all personal questions can be addressed in 2 individual coaching sessions.
