Dear actors|actresses,
If someone asks you: What is your theater? Do you have an answer?
When you have thought about it and finally have an answer – how could it be expressed?
In words? in pictures? through music? through dance and movement?
The most boring thing would be a theoretical explanation.
This simple question about the vision of one’s theater can haunt one throughout one’s artistic life. But without answering it, you would be an artist without a face.
What do I show of myself when I refer to my demo video? Isn’t it mostly the vision of others that I am professionally realising? Yes, this is my job – but – what is my artistic identity?
We want to invite you to a new kind of experience: a trip to your own monologue, a trip to the artistic ID.
Over many years, Jurij Alschitz has developed a methodology for becoming aware of one’s own credo, for revealing it and expressing it artistically.
In this course we cooperate with the video producer Nathanael Volke, who supports the “self-empowerment” of actors to express themselves digitally with very simple means. He will be teaching the basics.
If you want even more, there is an additional opportunity: Inspiration and optimisation of video production |
So everyone will first create a monologue and then a short video: your digital calling card.
Acting teacher Christine Schmalor can support you on this path with one-to-one coaching.
The course is held in simple English, the artistic work is done in the mother tongue.
Just try it out and discover a lot about yourself!
