In recent years, Jurij Alschitz, the artistic director of the World Theatre Training Institute AKT-ZENT / ITI research centre, has devised the most unusual methods for training actors and directors, and revealed new ways that take modern stage practice into account.
On this basis, with the eyes of the innovator, he now turns again to the Stansilavsky system.
In his in-depth research, he discovered methodological treasures that he re-interprets for today’s practice. He invites you to re-discover the heritage together, making it individually your own system.

For this programme, Jurij Alschitz has invited his master student, the director/teacher Olga Lapina, to a provocative dialogue: Time versus System. Here, participants will have the chance to experience an entire theatre dynasty; while Dr. Jurij Alschitz studied with Y.Malkovsky, a direct student of Stanislavsky, Dr. Olga Lapina graduated from the class of a second-generation Stanislavsky student, Professor Oleg Kudryashov, at the Moscow University of Theatre Arts (GITIS).
Together they will share their experiences – conflicts, insights and discoveries with “the system” that they face when teaching and directing.
Starting in October, there will be each month one session with a specific theme. You can book the whole course or single sessions.
The most clever will get the early bird reduction until 18 September for the whole course!
